Mr. Muhammad Ishfak Azam Chowdhury is currently perusing ICT4D Specialist in Plan International Bangladesh for an MNCH project. Prior to that He was a Manager under Social Innovation Lab of BRAC where he was dealing with Data Management Project of BRAC. He was also acted as MIS Officer in Friendship. He has more than five years of working experience in the development sector in Bangladesh. Basically he deals technology based monitoring system to carry out programme activities. He has developed various online monitoring tools and data dashboard to visualize working activities for BRAC. Field data collection using smart phones (Android based OS) is a new dimension of his experience. He used CommCare platform to develop the application. He also developed online workplan system, beneficiary profile, project activities, Blog of Good Governance programme, HR Information System for Friendship. He has also prepared several website and blog for Friendship. He has also facilitated several workshop on MS Office Solution 2010, mobile application development in BRAC and Friendship.

As a part of education he completed his post graduate degree in MS in Computer Science and Engineering from East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh obtaining CGPA 3.27 in 2010. From the same university he completed his undergraduate degree in B.Sc in Information and Communications Engineering in 2008 obtaining CGPA 3.65. He was awarded Medha Lalon Scholarship from the university for maintaining CGPA more than 3.75 for three semesters. He was also Undergraduate Teaching Assistance (UTA) in 2007.
